$25

I am pretty sure that Native de Argentina is really Native de Argentile.

Last summer, I bought a Dave Wilson tree from a local Nursery. It was labeled "Native de Argentina". The label should probably read hâtive d'argenteuil
If not the same, It is an excellent dark fig very similar to the Violette Dauphine.
This fig might go by other names (which adds to the confusion): Boule d’or, bouton d’or, Grise  de Beaucaire, Adam, Grosse violette hâtive, Rouge d’Argenteuil, Mussega negra, grosse de Juillet Cougourdon, Dauphine.
Here's a picture of the fruit it produced for me in its first year:

E-mail me, if you are interested.

Did not propagate much this season because of uncertainty over water availability.
