Never heard about this fig before.Comes to me from the town of Rouen,France,from "Jardin des plantes de Rouen".They call this fig-Trianon figue,just because is a big fig tree on Rue de Trianon. It is a big red fig,yellow interior,very sweet,i'll give him a 9.Thanks for looking.

Yes,Vale Negra has same leaves and fruits.I do believe is the same cultivar.

It is not that cold hardy...but,if you keep it in a big pot for the first 3 years,i'm sure it will pass the winter if is planted 5-6 ft from a south wall of a house.There is no such (young) fig tree to pass -18C (0 Fahr).
