I have two plants of RDB. One is from Bass(PA) and the other one from a friend of mine from Europe. The are both the same cultivar.

Most of them(80%) died in the winter.I do not protect them anymore, too much work!!!That's the reason i have so many cuttings in fall. The ones close to the house survive the winter unprotected(young/green branches dies).Bugs...,snowden is from UC Davis,on his second year with 7 figs on plant.Last year was a cutting and i had no figs. Rcantor...Ta Cenc is close to the house...produce a very large yellow brebas, yellow interior with almost no seeds, very sweet(similar with Vashon). For the main crop, you need a long and hot summer,it's a late fig.Got it from Jon(Encanto),maybe he knows more about it.

This was an air layer on a very young/green Florea branch.Got a mix of good potting soil, soil from the woods behind my house and aged cow manure(40%).Water the pot every 2 days with rain water mix with a spoon  of Ironite(home depot). When you will see roots coming out on the top of the pot,on that point you can cut the branch...pot is full of roots.I do have one more Florea air layer and i will show you step by step everything.
