I was very surprised that my 4 years old fig tree is so productive,putting so many figs on one single branch.I counted at least 150 figs today.Could anyone guess who this winner is?    Marius

 You are in the same zone with me.If you wanna taste figs in august i would recommend:florea,sal's el,ronde de bordeaux,nero600 and mavra+vasilika sika. Early figs,good figs.Good luck!

Martin,i live 20 miles south of Cleveland,Ohio.....Ruben,i had 61 figs on my plant last year and i ate only 6 ripen ones by the 1st of october...need a long and hot summer for this variant...i would give her one more try this year,and then...fig heaven...  Same with my Panache fig,never ate a ripe one in 4 years.BTW,i would have 2 Black Madeira plants,4 years old,in 20 and 30 gal pots and a Panache fig in a 32 gal pot...pick-up only,for free,by the end of this season,if they dont produce anything for me this season... Marius.

  Me again...on that monday night,cause of the frost,i've lost 90% of the new green buds on 45 trees in big pots.But...the only ones not affected by the frost(looking so far,very cold hardy) are:noire de caromb,nero 600,tacoma violet,nordland,florea,vasilika sika and ronde de bordeaux.Pictures were taken today.
