Col de dam noire I heard is one you wanna add your collection.I was very lucky to receive two cuttings but they failed.I hope to win this one that's listed on ebay.I see that this plant may sell close to 200 because how rare and hard it is to root.

Hey John it's industrial strength 10 mil thick white tarp.

I have a few that I cover every year here in se Mich.First I tie up all the branches with a thin cable then I sprinkle mice pellets around the trunk then I wrap my tree with burlap then wrap carpet around the burlap and last I use a 14 by 14 white tarp tie it real good and put soil at the bottom of the tarp works great no die back and make sure you DO NOTTTT use any plastic.Goodluck.By the way use white tarps cause they reflect the sun other tarps collect lots of moisture and rot the branches so does plastic.

Here in Michigan this year it feels like it's zone 7 here. The lowest we had this winter was 10 degrees f.This has been a very mild winter.I have Florea,Marseilles VS,Sals and Hardy Chicago all left unprotected and there still alive and the tips seem to still be in good shape. Our high's in Jan have been 30's and 40's unheard of.Gorgi's idea sonds great maybe I'll start growing Manadrins and Pomegranites.

I ordered from them before and had no problem figs are not that huge but for 17 dollars its worth it shipping is about 10 for the first plant.I ordered a few quinces and a cherry tree they were very healthy and around 4-5 ft trees.Sara your fig will be around 2-3 ft just ask them for the largest one they have well branched goodluck.
