I bought some fresh Calimyrna figs at the fruit store boy are they tasty rich honey nutty flavor .I know I can't grow it here in Mi because of pollination.I was just wondering if you fig friends could share a few suggestions what taste similar to calimyrna.Jon suggested Deanna,and 278-128 any other suggestions?Thanks and God Bless.

Wow Herman I never knew you could get ripe figs with that little sun.I have a few figs that only get sun around the same time you do and someone told me I need more heat there too small to tell yet.The varieties are Marseilles VS and Negronne.You have a beautiful tree.I have a small 2ft florea  growing I hope mine gets as big as yours.It may be tuff for mine to get that big here in Michigan.Thank you so much for sharing pictures.I really don't care how the fig tastes I just think it would be beautiful to have a fig that I can leave uncovered.At what age do you believe that I can leave my Florea uncovered?Thank you.

Oh yea Paully I tried durians.When I brought the fruit home I opened it in my house boy did my house stink.To me the fruit taste like onion and garlic custard together.It is supposed to be really healthy for our body.

I'm with you all.You guys gave me a great idea.Instead of stuffed grape leaves.I'm gonna make stuffed oleander leaves with pecans,walnuts and cashews and leave them near my fig trees.I'm pretty sure you know for who they are?

My Italian neighbor rooted it for me in water like you said and gave it to me about a month ago.It's my first Oleander and it reminds me of the Bahamas.In the Bahamas they grow wild all over the place just like in Europe.
