Nice Softtail ...25K ...awsome trip  you took ...
We got rid of that heel shifter ha .
Most of my long rides were on the old shovelhead longest only 9k  .coast to coast and gulf to cannada a few times . I guess close to a quarter million miles on my three harleys in the last 30+ years . so far only a cpl 2000 mile trips on the RoadKing SO FAR !

I traveled to Egypt a few years ago, i saw a few fig trees poking over walled gardens  of private homes and at  a Nubian island  farm  on the Nile neer Luxor.
I saw no fresh figs in the markets.
We did have very good dried figs with breakfast often.

Very cool pics

5 years ago maybe? i visited Peru the Amazon basin close to Ecuadore also the Coastal region/Lima and the Andes/Mts  Cuzco , MacchuPichu ect , i saw a few fig trees in church court yards and in farmers walled gardens in the sacred valley about 6,000 ft.
Cusco is 11,400ft i saw figs in church court yards there . it is reported that in the Presidential palace court yard in Lima there is a fig tree planted buy Pazaro in i think 1640. the day i was to go there there was a political rally and the plazza was closed off.
I also traveled to Egypt and jordan a few years ago in Egypt i saw figs in the walled compounds of the nicer homes and i saw huge groves of fig trees in jordon from the bus . on none of these trips did i see fresh figs in the markets . in jordan and Egypt we often had dried figs on the Breakfast buffets. I also saw some very old looking fig trees growing among the ruins of an ancient Roman city/Jarosh  in Jordon .

Well i made it back from my 3 week trip in Peru  .

I did see a number of interesting fig trees, mostly in court yards of  museums or monastery's . A few peeking over the tops of the many walled gardens of private residences .
Only one had large purple and green striped fruit on it.
It was the winter or dry season . I was not able to see the 400+ year old fig Pizarro planted at the governors palace due to a  protest march the square was closed down.
