Subject: Why are my fig leaves turning brown at the periphery? Replies: 8

Thanks guys. Then sunburn is a much more likely reason. I'm in Bakersfield, CA Zone 9. Very hot and dry in the summer. I built a shade canopy for each of my fruit trees. Good to see new growth with healthy leaves.

Hmmm, and fungal infection happens because of too much moisture, right? At one time I was watering 3x a week. I've since cut back to 1/week. Maybe that's why the new leaves at the tip of the branches show healthy green leaves. Where can I get the copper spray?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm not sure if it's due to over or underwatering. The new growth shows no such browning. Thanks,
