Hello all.
I live in zone 4, I put all my trees in the garage, I have a thermometer when It gets below 45 I turn the heater on,my garage is insulated so I don't have to use it much.

Sas, this is a leaf from the Brogiotto Nero. It doesn't look like your's, but it's hard to judge because yours is still a young plant.

@ Ed, it is a late fig,I've not seen any splitting at all,it has a close eye,

@ SAS. It is definetely a late fig, I've been taking it in and out of my garage on cold nights, because it is such a beautiful and delicious fig,
I don't have the Bourjasotte noir to compare.
I'll take a picture of the leaves today(if it has any left

I do some smoking too, I use a Brickman and a Weber kettle, I've smoked salmon and steelhead trout ,duck ,turkey, brisket. Next year I plan on getting a ca ja China pig toaster and have a pig roast, you and Dave are invited :-):-)

I have been trying all evening to post some pictures but keep getting the following error message when trying to attach my photos:  An error occured: Error: Storage limit exceeded.

I have resized my pics to the smallest size
I have tried to send from my phone; my tablet and my desktop PC. All have lots of storage left, so its not that.  

Anyone able to advise me I would be grateful!

Actally, this is my second one. When I cut the first one open there was a worm in it,so I threw it away. It broke my "figging" heart! Its a keeper.
