I use the regular old heavy hoses from sears (guaranteed for life), but my wife has both the pocket hose (for around the patio) and two Zero G hoses. She has had the pocket hose for two years now, but initially had to replace it three times because it exploded. The way she uses it solves the exploding problem. She has a spray nozzle on the end, but NEVER closes it completely, so no pressure builds up in the hose. When shutting the hose off she moves the sprayer setting to mist, so that when the hose is turned back the pressure does not build up. The hose is merely a conduit for water. It has worked fine for two years. She likes it because it's so lightweight. She also likes the Zero G and when the pocket hose does go, she will replace it with that.
