This is truly unfortunate for Forum members. I thought one of the benefits of being a member was NOT to have to bid on cuttings through eBay.

Hi Jesse.
Welcome to the forum.
If you're going to plant the containers in the ground, you should plug the bottom holes, and put holes in the sides instead. It makes taking them out a lot easier. When its time to take them out, go around the outside of the pot with a spade and it will pull right out without any roots coming out of the bottom of the pot.

Happy figging!

Hello Joe
I'm not an expert but I can tell you what I do with good success.
I use 70% pearlite and 30% promix in a clear plastic cups,
Place in a warm place out of sunlight And keep moist until you see lots of roots then put in a gallon pot.
Good luck

I don't remember much of the taste, that was 60 year's ago, but that's how we made ricotta.

Back in Sicily, my mother used to make ricotta cheese by taking a branch from the fig tree and snapping it in several places so it would fit in the pot of heated goat's or sheep's milk. That would coagulate the milk, taking the place of renett.
