Good News folks:

Bass posted a message about Montserrat having a new web page [and it came in on Monserrat's Facebook page]

I saw this on his Llibre [book] page:
http://www.sonmutnou.com/llibre.htm  ]

Próximament...

ESTAM TREBALLANT PER PASSAR EL LLIBRE A FORMAT ELECTRÒNIC

Which [I am pretty sure] means

"We are working to convert the book to electronic format"

That's incredible news.

Bass, I'll be in Barcelona for 3 days. Believe me, I have tried to figure if I could take an early morning flight to Palma de Mallorca and back before my 415pm flight to another part of Spain.
One idea for people who will be spending time in Spain might think about:
The two online sales sites [in Spain] I have seen for this book will ship it within Spain for 8-9€. So if they have a friend/relative who can receive the mailed book and hold it for them until they arrive, it would reduce the shopping cost immensely.
However, if it is shipped to the friend/relative's home or business that's great, but if it means that the friend/relative has to go wait in a post office line to get the package, they might [understandably] not be so hot on the idea

In my case, my friend in Madrid is already holding something I bought on ebay.es a few weeks ago [used espresso machine same brand as I have used daily for 9 years]:

Demoka M-363

So my wife is not too hot on my wanting to bring back yet another heavy object back with us.

Hi Folks, I have finished translating Axier's "How to Graft an Adult Fig Tree" document into English, and have posted it as a PDF file.

EDIT Nov 28 2012:  I have now added the PDF directly to Figs4Fun:

Axier, my father thanks you for having described your process and findings. He is in the same exact situation as you were, and is grateful for your efforts.

Hi Bass,
I'll be in Spain during mid-late April.

Does anyone know where this book would be available for on-site purchase [versus buying it online...such as ebay.es] ?

So far I've met Jon, picking up a fig tree last April [when I was back in my hometown of SD visiting my parents].

As it turns out, Jon lives around the corner from the childhood home of a high school buddy [whose mom still lives there].

I like this one:

What are the last two words out of a Northerner or Southerner's mouth immediately before he/she gets into an auto accident?

Northerner:
Oh #&@*$ !!

Southerner:
Watch THIS!!!
