Hi, Martin!
Thank you!
Yes, I got this one from Ebay..
You know how much I love Ebay:-)
O, well..I got it, this was cheap..
But if this will produce good tasting figs..I will eat them:-)
If not..Hm..Birds don't eat my figs..Squirrels also don't eat my figs...
I think I can't get rid off a fig tree.. So, this one will be just here...
Good I do have other figs here :-)
I will try to get cuttings this year Ichia Black..
I may be even already order from UCDA..I need check it out...
For now.. I try to buy only dark figs:-)
At list I hope this will keep me from buying too many..
And may be will give me some break try don't work too much..
But, I do have too many hobby.. And they all need money all the time...
This could be so nice to win a Power Ball..

JD, I think I do have a small figs on a top of the plant..I will make a pics tomorrow and post them..Before I just want to wait when fruit will get ripe..
I real did straggle with this one on beginning..Bass keep sending cuttings of this one again and again.. This is only one survive.. I real wanted to have this variety so I was all over this one.. So, no way tags can be change or some other mistake..
And hopefully next year this one will be much bigger ...Still I'm very happy this one start grow for me and produce..
But I don't use Miracle grow fertilizer..Never did...
Still I hope this one will continue to grow for me...
Few month from now I didn't believe in adding fertilazer or lime..
Now I change my mind..
I add one time fertilazer 10-10-10..
And 2 time lime..
I real kind afraid to force too much my plants to grow..
I know with everything in this life when you use something too much this will hurt in the end...

Hi, Gene!
Many people on this forum already know..I do have many, many figs..Like 400 or may be even more..I lost acounting..
And last year..I may be have around 10-15 figs total on all my trees..
I real was don't know what to do to make them produce..
I'm not interesting to sell figs trees..My interest to eat as many figs as I can get...
So..After I change soil.. After couple month put fertilazer 10-10-10 and lime and pine bark to cover pot..
Now almost all my fig have figs on them.. May be only 3 don't have figs..
With one gallon I just use this soil, no fertilazer, no lime, no pine bark..Almost all now have figs on them..
So, I don't know if this will work just for me, I mean climat and water I have..Or any one can have same effect..
But, I will be honest..I'm very, very happy this year..
So, I kind feel like I found a secret formula for a soil mix.. At list for area I live in...
I will continue experimenting.. And hopefully everything will work out...
I hope many other people can use this formula and get more figs to eat...
And you do have a very good looking BM! Congratulations!

JD
I make a  mistake this year and put cuttings in mix of cow manure with pit moss and perlite and this real slow them, but after I move them in mix of pit moss and perlite they root faster so this plant in this pot for couple month now..

All right , I already write about this on a forum..
I do have another one Bl Madeira from last year Jon cutting, this one look almost like one I show you only no fruit..
Why???
One from last year first was in soil - organic compost, plus perlite, after this in soil - cow manure plus pit moss, plus perlite.. And I try keep this one in full sun..
Now one what I show you..
In soil mix - Jungle Groth proffecional mix for shub and trees plus pit moss plus perlite..
And I keep this one in place where sun come only in a morning area..
I never add fertilazer or lime or pine bark to this one...
So I think Bl Madeira love this new soil and shadeed area...
I start thinking ..May be this way I can make money..Try to sell my secret soil mix..

Ok, guys..
When I was living on Black Sea..I eat all the time Patlican and Green figs..
They grow near houses..No one ever water them..
Black Sea almost never get cold..
We swim in a Sea in December...They are good tasting figs..
I don't think they do need polination.. I don't remember seeing wasps..
I do have few Patlican figs here from this year cuttings, they are easy to root..
Don't like too much sun..So they in a shade for now..

Also I find out info..Fracazzano don't look like Italian honey and all, or Latarulla..But leaves on yours look like them..I do have both of them..
So, here real mess.. in all this info..

Hi, Ben!
Do you know I was thinking about your words all last night..
And first I even was thinking to look my Pay Pal to see from who I got this fig, but after all I decide I do not need to do so..
Why?
I got this fig on Ebay from a member of this forum, actually I got more figs from this person also..
This person was very nice, very helpfull to me and every word about this fig come true...
So, I did trust this person back then and I trust this person now..
So, I check again with European webs..
For sale now available
Fracazzano Bianco
Fracazzano Nero
Fracazzano Rosso
Fracazzano Sguro..
So, which one do you have, so I can check rest of them?

Hi, Noss!
On second photo a orange..
I plant like 10 when I come here..But taste not good..I just use them for shade..My property standing on old orange grow..
I do have one orange left , one tangerine and one grapefruit left ..Orange and tangerine best I ever eat..
I do have a lemon tree.. Small one..I did have a big one..But people who move on next property..I don't know why..Just cut it.. And this was my property where this lemon grow..So, now I do have one half lemon, half lime..
But, to be honest with you..My friends and family engoy my oranges , not me..I never have time to pick them up..
This happen with mulberry too..
Seems like I always have people here who come to get fruit..
I guess..I will never have too many figs also..
Strange, but no one who I know want to grow they own fruit..They telling me, they just like to get what I grow..

Hi, Martin!
I think if more people will share they experiments and pictures we all will get more info to think about..
Two years from now when I start buying figs..I real know almost nothing about them and I real was don't know what I need to do, when and how..
I guess because I love to study and get any avaliable knowlege about things I'm interesting in..
But even now..I still don't real sure why some cuttings grow to a adult plants and some just dye for no reason...
This is real bothering me..
I'm now so worry about my Lebanese Red..I'm on my last one.. And yesterday this one don't look good..I almost sure I will lose this one..
But, may be , some how will survive..
I want to ask if anybody have experience with rooting Lebanese Red..
For me this one very, very slow, roots very small, look very weak..
I guess I can try again and see how this will go..

Seems like this is this year wood..
But most of my figs never went dormant, they was grow over winter time..
May be because I was keep them inside for a cold period of time..
But in February I already got up to 12 inch new grows on many figs..
May be they will drop, may be not..
I'm watching my figs every day.. So, I will post how they are doing..

Now I working outside with plants all day long and I'm OK..
Actually I find out ..I real don't like airconditioner..I always get sick from it..
So, this is will take just time ..
We do have many people live here.. Actually when I come here this was a small town with may be 100000 people, now this more then 500000 people live here.. So, people move here all the time..But some who can't find a job moving back also..

Hi, Jene!

Actually, I just come home from work..I need go and check , this one may felt down already..
I will make pics of leaves too..
Fracazzano very slow growing fig, I got this one almost 2 years from now, I did have fruit last year, they was smaller, then this time..Plant now may be 24 inches tall, top cover with figs..

Hi, Noss!
I mean normally on figs tree leaves go almost gorizontally, may be lift up little bit..
Lately figs lift up they leaves very high, so now if you look on a trees almost all leaves staying together almost in vertical position..
I will make pics tomorrow to better explain..I guess this way they awoid get too much sun..
About your tree..I just will feed it when this one will moved in 3 gallon pot with lime and fertilazer and now try keep it in some kind shape..
If you want to give your tree vitamic C..Look in Home Depot or Lowe's Pine bark, just put it inside pot, cover all soil and water it..
I done it so I can prevent soil from over drying and this help prevent nematodes too and other bags don't bother my figs..
But..I think here must be some kind other side effect.. So, now I keep pine bark for may be 2 month and I think I will need to remove it..
I know this may hurt some tree..May be..I just don't want to take a chance..
My friend told me if you boil pine bark in water..You are getting pure Vitamin C in this water..So, may be we can water plants with this boiling water and give plants Vitamin C..Only I think we need to be careful and don't give too much..
May be like 1 time in a month..
I did boil water with this pine barks, water look pinkish.. Also I boil in same water black weeping willow leaves and branches and after this cool off add a honey..I water with this my yoang figs and cuttings which I trying to root, seems like this help plants to get stronger and they don't show FMV like before..
So, I guess Sara experiment and me adding pine bark.. work at list for me..
But I put small amount of this water and I add clear water to it, so this will be not so strong..

Martin, I agree with you.. Climat is changing..
Hopefully nature will work it out some how...
People can be inside buildings with airconditioners, but plants and animals suffer worst...
Now here almost mid night outside 80 F and no wind and all, very humid, hot..
In shade we go over 100 F already for more then a week..
Weather man speak about 80-90.. But in reality here much more hot..
We had here horrible rain..I was thinking I will do not need to water plants for a couple of days..I check next day, plants was completely dry..
Figs lift up they leaves during the day and look more relax after sun go down..All my citrus trees lift up they leaves too..
Only plants in shade look normal..
I have 3 pools for the dogs..I see birds all the time on pools drinking water..
I can't wait when October will come..Sure plants and animals too..
