Does anyone know if there are any fig gatherings or tastings or events in Florida? I would love to attend these types of events but don't want to fly out of state for it.

Why did Fig of the Day stop? There are enough figs out there to add a different fig every day for years. This topic is extremely helpful and insightful. Please consider bringing this back.

Tarpon springs is about 30 minutes north of me. Good point. I will search for a fig gathering there online.

I have this tree now. It's still a baby but growing pretty well. Thanks to a fabulous fig member!

Hi All,

I'm looking for live tree or cuttings. I have bought cuttings twice off eBay and neither have worked out. One purchase was from Portugal and was confiscated and the other was not true to its name.

Can anyone help me out? From what I hear this is a must have. Getting the genuine article seems to be difficult.

Hello Fig Friends.

I have been searching for this particular fig for a while now. I have seen it for sale on EBay only a few times and each time the seller was from Greece and would not ship it the USA. Does anyone have one I could buy? I am willing to pay a fair price for this beautiful fig. I would be interested in a live plant or cuttings. My goal is to obtain all of the royal greek figs and this is the last one for me to get.

Thank you.

I'm in FL near Tampa so the weather is generally good for tropical plants. I also have lots of fruit trees other than figs.

3 Sapodillas, 1 lychee, 2 blue berries, 1 pomegranate, 5 sugar apples, 2 atemoyas, 1 cherimoya, 1 mango, 2 guavas, 3 jackfruits, 1 papaya, 2 starfruits, 2 navel oranges, 1 peach, and 1 nectarine.
